(Phoenix™ Technique)
Why Choose The Advanced Hypnotherapy/NLP Method?
Whichever method of smoking cessation you choose, it will only work if you are truly committed to stop smoking.
When smokers try to stop with other methods, they often suffer misery and depression caused by the feeling that they are being deprived of a pleasure or a “crutch”.
This is because the psychological aspect of the smoking habit is either not
being addressed, or the therapy has not been specifically tailored to their individual needs.
The Benefit of the Phoenix™ Technique
The beauty of the Phoenix™ Technique is that it aims to address the powerful psychological aspects of the smoking habit and, in so doing, removes any feeling of
deprivation.
It removes the need and desire to smoke, so there is no need for any
aids or substitutes.
You have Nothing To Fear And Everything To Gain
The old myths and misconceptions about hypnosis have given way to proven, scientifically sound applications. Today hypnosis is used in many fields, including:
medicine, dentistry, law enforcement and education.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We would like to answer some questions and dispel those myths.
How does hypnosis work?
Our mind works on two levels – the conscious and the unconscious. We make decisions, think, and act with our conscious mind. The unconscious mind controls our habits. In the relaxed state known as hypnosis, we
can communicate directly with the unconscious mind. This is why it is possible to change ‘fixed’ habits with hypnosis.
Can I be hypnotised?
Virtually anyone who wants to be hypnotised can go to a deep level of trance and achieve successful results using hypnosis. However, if a patient is unwilling to follow hypnotic suggestions we can’t hypnotise them, because we can’t make them do anything that they do not want to do.
Will I know if I am hypnotised?
Most people can’t tell the difference between the
hypnotised and the waking states. Some people feel relaxed and lethargic, others
feel a lightness. One thing that people do notice is an inexplicable change in their daily behaviours.
Is hypnosis ‘Mind Control’?
No! You can’t be made to do anything against your will! Hypnosis is not sleep.
Am I Aware of being hypnotised?
You are aware and in control at every moment and can
terminate the session at any stage.
Common Mis-Conceptions - Stage Act Hypnosis
A common perception about hypnosis comes
from stage acts. The volunteers choose to go on stage and are willing to go along
with the entertainer’s suggestions and act foolishly for the purpose of the show.
Has Hypnotherapy a Strict Code Of Conduct?
Hypnotherapy is dedicated to the well-being of the patient. We are
regulated by a strict code of conduct.
Is It Safe?
Hypnotherapy is completely safe.
How does hypnosis help me stop smoking?
Because smoking is a habit, it is controlled by the unconscious mind. With hypnosis and NLP we can work directly with the unconscious, this is the only method that makes sense! We can help you
make the transition into a healthy, happy non-smoker – it could only take one
session to quit!
Commitment Required From You With The Phoenix™ Technique
In this case commitment means ‘until the job is done’. Think about it, we are guiding you to use hypnosis to change your habit.
You need to be fully responsible for making that change. In other words, should you
have a big ‘craving’ after your session, commitment means you come back.
Hypnosis isn’t magic.
We can not impose a change of habit on you.
When Will I stop Smoking?
You will stop smoking when 100% of your conscious mind and 100% of your
subconscious mind are in agreement that it is best to stop.
We will guide your
subconscious to make the required commitment.
Never Smoke Again
When it has done so, you will register this change as the strength, will and determination to remain a non-smoker, come what may. You may even never
entertain the idea of smoking again.
Programme Backup Support
If you don’t stop first time, part of your subconscious has not yet accepted that it is required to change. Our programme includes backup support to deal with this
eventuality. When you take full responsibility for doing whatever it takes the backup
is hardly ever required.
Most people stop smoking comfortably, easily and naturally.
What People Say About It
Christine’s nice client said, “I’d been a smoker since the age of 14. When I came to
you I was 40. During that period of smoking I’d tried everything to give up, without
success. After the ‘one-off’ session of hypnosis I’ve never smoked again. For me
this was a miracle, and especially for my family as they were very worried about the
amount I smoked.”
Sandra Martin said, “I was scared of stopping. Christine made me feel so relaxed. I couldn’t believe how easy it would be to stop smoking with hypnosis. Thanks to Wellbeing Consultancy, I’ve remained a non-smoker now for two years and I’ve
saved over £3,000!”
